Stardust armor is a mail service-Moon Lord prepare of armor that provides summon weapon boosts. It is currently the final summoner ready bachelor on the Desktop version Desktop version, Console version Console version, Mobile version Mobile version, Nintendo Switch version Nintendo Switch version, and tModLoader version tModLoader version. Crafting the full ready requires a total of 36 Luminite Confined (144 Luminite) and 45 Stardust Fragments.

A full set of the Stardust armor will provide the following benefits:

  • +5 minion capacity
  • +66% minion damage
  • A unique Stardust Guardian minion volition follow the wearer. It does not count against the player's minion capacity, and its function differs across versions:
    • On the Desktop version Desktop version, Console version Console version, Mobile version Mobile version, and Nintendo Switch version Nintendo Switch version, the Stardust Guardian is passive until an enemy is within a 30-tile radius from the player. It will chop-chop charge even through blocks towards the enemy, which information technology then strikes chop-chop with a flurry of punches that each deal ~30 summon damage. In one case there are no more than hostile entities within range, the Stardust Guardian volition render to following the player passively.
    • On the tModLoader version tModLoader version, it is passive until activated by double-tapping the ▼ Down key, which places it on the nearest block beneath the cursor position. Once placed, the Guardian becomes a sentry-style minion that can chase enemies for very short distances before returning to its original position. It periodically triggers explosions that deal 20 damage and cause enemies in the blast radius to target the Guardian instead of the histrion. It is deactivated past holding the ▼ Down central, which causes information technology to render to following the player passively.

Notes [ ]

A actor with Stardust armor and a Stardust Guardian.

  • Due to the Stardust armor increasing all summon damage past 66%, including the damage of the Stardust Guardian, its base damage is about 43-47.
  • On the Desktop version Desktop version, Console version Console version, Mobile version Mobile version, and Nintendo Switch version Nintendo Switch version:
    • The Stardust Guardian attacks virtually in one case every 0.25 seconds and volition set on a target endlessly until the target dies or is out of range.
    • No blocks volition halt the Guardian's set on on an enemy, and it volition move freely to the enemy to proceed the attack if it is within range.
    • Moving too far from the Stardust Guardian while it is attacking will cause it to return to the player as the enemies are no longer within its range.
  • On the tModLoader version tModLoader version:
    • Moving too far from the Stardust Guardian in its sentry position volition cause information technology to return to the player.
    • The armor set's tooltip vaguely states that information technology increases minion capacity instead of a precise number. It actually grants 5 actress minions, 1 from Helmet, two from Plate and Leggings each.
    • All armors made from Luminite accept no sell value.
  • The Stardust Guardian can be dyed via the pet slot in the thespian's equipment carte du jour.
  • Like all armors made from Luminite, equipping Stardust armor makes the player give off calorie-free, in this case white. Dissimilar other Luminite sets, equipping just one piece of the set gives off the total corporeality of calorie-free.
    • Low-cal given out from the armor does not stack with Shine Potion, and the brightness is exactly the aforementioned equally Shine Potion.

Tips [ ]

  • Using Stardust armor and accessories and buffs, it is possible to take 11 minions, not counting the Stardust Guardian.
  • While it is a potent offensive set, Stardust armor has relatively low defense, and although its ability to assail any enemies that come within a far distance of the player compensates somewhat, the Stardust Guardian does not protect the user confronting projectiles which leaves them vulnerable. The Valhalla Knight's Breastplate can be substituted into the set to provide much greater survivability, sacrificing the Guardian, and ii minion slots. It may be worth information technology to wear the full Valhalla Knight armor instead of the Stardust armor, as information technology has much more defense, move speed, health regeneration, and 3 extra sentries at the cost of 5 minions, the Guardian, and vi% minion damage.
  • The Stardust Guardian tin can move through blocks to attack enemies regardless of whether or not it has targeted the actor. This can be exploited past walling oneself in, allowing the Guardian to take care of enemies (this method may exist futile to some enemies, such as the Cursed Skull).
  • The Stardust Guardian is affected by whips, including summon tag damage and critical strike gamble, and debuffs which have issue when the afflicted target is hitting by a minion.

Trivia [ ]

Developer comments on the origin of the Stardust Guardian. Click/tap to overstate.

  • Stardust armor has the lowest defense of the iv Luminite armors.
  • The Stardust Guardian was originally created as a reference to Algalon the Observer from the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Globe of Warcraft.[1] However, due to the community's enthusiasm in comparison the Stardust armor to Star Platinum from the Japanese manga/anime Stardust Crusaders, which is the third story arc of the JoJo's Baroque Adventure series, lead programmer Yoraiz0r has best-selling the resemblance and said the armor tin be a reference. The similarities have get more than apparent with the rework of the Star Guardian's attack mode in one.4.0.1.: A barrage attack, referencing "Stand Barrage", an attack used by humanoid Stands (A "spirit" that helps it's possessor fight), where the stand unleashes a flurry of punches.
